Art, my unique space

Who am I, and why do I make art?

I want to make it clear that this site is solely for therapeutic purposes, to help me overcome the trauma of the domestic violence, and coercive control I suffered for years.

I would also like to make an important clarification: I haven’t received any money for the creations you see on my page.

On the contrary, I’ve used my own money to participate in art exhibitions, murals, public art projects, books, and magazines that have so kindly invited me to participate.

Unfortunately, I am currently still dealing with the legal actions my ex has taken against me, as he has discovered that this is the way he can continue to exert control over me and cause me harm.

I can honestly say that art is not only a big relief to my fibromyalgia symptoms;  It is essentially what, along with my children, gives me the strength to live, it is what allows me to breathe and especially, what frees me from pain.

Because of all of the above, for me, creating art has become my lifeline, where I find solace.

About Me:

My mission has been to create unique pieces of art.
In the years that I have lived in Canada, I have made my own designs inspired by the environment, seeking to recreate and evoke the beauty of Nature in BC. Mainly, I focus on the best combination of colors, shapes and textures to shape each of my creations.

My prints are the result of many hours of patiently researched etching techniques carried out in the studio, combined with paper handmade by myself, and most importantly with a lot of love in my heart.
