“Tirana International Biennale of Graphic Arts” first edition.  

 

Under the patronage of Municipality of Tirana and the Ministry of Culture “Tirana International Biennale of Graphic Arts” first edition, will be held at Tirana Art Gallery & National Historical Museum, in Tirana, the Albanian capital.

 

“Tirana International Biennale of Graphic Arts” is designed by the Tirana Art Gallery curatorial committee and international curators with the idea to build a distinctive international cultural exchanges platform

 

This exhibition pulls together different art pieces by international artists who work in Graphic Arts mediums to promote ART around the world.

 

Tirana Art Gallery is an institution associated with the Municipality of Tirana. Its mission is to bring people together through ART, by welcoming everyone to explore and experience art, and educating them with creativity, imagination & productivity.

During the Biennial days, various interactive events, hands-on exhibitions will be taking place, and will be attended by professional public and media representatives.

 

Criteria for Participation
The competition is open to all printmaking graphic media, classical and contemporary including   graphic installations. Works must contain some form of printmaking including: Intaglio, Silkscreen, Relief, Monotype, Lithography, Calligraphy, Mixed Media, and Isograph.

Only ORIGINAL, hand-created works are eligible.
