Smallish
2020, “SmallIsh” all members Exhibition, at Dundarave Printmakers Studio, Vancouver, Canada.
As a member of Dundarave Printmakers Studio, I was invited to participate at Smallsh, which was printing onto a very small format or surface.
My tiny artworks were around 4 cm.
It was a real challenge to make the small book, which has a book cover made in maple tree bark, and consists of 2 cm x 1 cm mini prints, which I carved and printed by hand in colors, on a whole sheet that I later folded into a book.
The round one, I stamp a recorder that carves and prints by hand on a fabric that is later mounted on an embroidery frame that is 4 cm in diameter.
